Game of Thrones

Season 6

What to expect in Season 6 of Game Of Thrones

The much anticipated season 6 of Game of Thrones is here and we all “watch, listen and remember” as it brings back chilly storylines, surprising plots, shocking alliances, unexpected betrayals and hopefully some awaited comebacks.
The new season simulcasts exclusively on OSN. This means you don't have to wait to see it. You get it firsthand and before it airs anywhere else. What's better is that you can watch anytime and anywhere you want with OSN Play. So how about some recap before you start watching it?
Speculations about the destiny of the Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch Jon Snow have been on ever-since the jaw-dropping Season 5 finale, which closed on him in a pool of his own blood. However, that’s not the only question that’s leaving the fans speculating.
If the previous five seasons have proven anything, it is that “anyone can die.” Perhaps the most shocking death was that of Ned Stark at the end of Season 1, but again it was the death that sparked the war that started everything. Along the way, we’ve seen the demise of several key characters including Robert Baratheon, Rob Stark, Kaitlyn Stark, King Joffrey, Tyron Lannister, Khal Drogo, with Jon Snow’s destiny yet to be confirmed.
There have been also speculations about the death of Stannis Baratheon as we haven’t seen the sword coming in contact with his flesh. Melisandre is at Castle Black for some reason. Is her focus now shifted to Jon Snow? Does that mean she’ll have a hand in his resurrection? This is actually one of the most popular fans theories.
Cercei has a new terrifying protector of some dark nature, another one of her kids is dead while the third’s claim to the throne is already weak.
The destiny of the stark daughters remains uncertain too, with Arya blinded and Sansa trying to escape Winterfell with Theo. The same applies to Daenerys, who was last seen far away surrounded by the warriors of Dothraki.
Bran Stark hasn’t been seen since Season 4, when the Three-Eyed Raven told him he’s going to fly. He didn’t make an appearance in any of Season 5’s episodes, but it has been confirmed that he’s up for a strong comeback in Season 6, having discovered the role he’s going to play in the upcoming war.
As expected season 6 premiere, which aired on April 25, did not give all the answers but it certainly kept us all yearning for more. Don't miss the action. Watch it on OSN First HD - Home of HBO® .
