Amr Yousif tells you why you need to connect your box to the internet
Do you know that your OSN On Demand stores thousands of hours of the latest movies, series and shows for you?
Right there at the touch of a button and you can access all that as part of your subscription. All you have to do is connect your OSN box to the internet. That’s it, no tricks, no added charges.
Connecting your box to the internet is quite simple and you have two ways of doing it:
Connect using Ethernet cable:
1. Insert the Ethernet cable in the back of your box.
2. On your remote control, press the ‘Menu’ button.
3. Go to ‘Setting’ and choose ‘System Setup'.
4. You will be asked to enter a pin code. If you haven’t changed it, the default pin is ‘0000.’
5. After that go to ‘Network Preferences’ and choose ‘Ethernet (Recommended)’ as your ‘Active Network'.
6. You will get a pop-up message notifying you that your OSN Box will reboot. You need to allow this in order to finish the process.
7. Now go to OSN On Demand and start enjoying thousands of hours of amazing TV content.
Connect using a wireless dongle:
You need to use a wireless dongle if your router is not close to your OSN Box.*
1. Insert the Wi-Fi dongle in the back of your box.
2. A pop-up message will appear on your screen asking you if you wish to connect. Click yes to proceed. Your system will then reboot.
3. Once your system has rebooted, press the ‘Menu’ button in your remote control and choose ‘Setting’ then ‘System Set-up.’
4. You will be asked to enter a pin code. If you haven’t changed it, your default pin is ‘0000.’
5. After that go to ‘Network Preferences’ and choose ‘Wi-Fi’ as your ‘Active Network.’ Get your wireless password ready as you’ll need it for the next step.
6. Choose your network connection and enter your password then click Ok.
7. Now go to OSN On Demand and start enjoying.
Go on. Connect your box to the internet today and catch up with new episodes of your favorite series at the same time as their US premieres, watch the latest blockbuster movies, or simply enjoy back-to-back box-set marathons of those must-watch TV shows. On your terms, at a time to suit you. Whatever you want, whenever you want.
