A ‘Code 8’ error appears when the service is blocked/Free-To-Air viewing is blocked.
•Unplug your OSN set top box’s power cord, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in
Go to one of your OSN channels and send an activation signal to your OSN smartcard
To send an activation signal to your OSN smartcard, visit myosn.osn.com and follow these instructions:
-Sign in to your account
-Select error code 8
-Select Smartcard Number
-Select Send Signal
-Wait 20 minutes without changing the channel, and then try tuning to a Free-To-Air channel
You may use MyOSN App to troubleshoot the error and send activation signals.
