A novelist gets involved in a forbidden relationship with a married lady and loses his confidence in women. But Salwa's love changes the negative judgements of the writer towards women and becomes the source of inspiration for his next novel.
Anis, the owner of a publishing house, gives Rabih money to write a second novel after the success of his story. Hence, Rabih decides to go to his town where he feels inspired for writing.
After a long absence, Rabih returns to his town with his mother to write his second novel. Salwa, who comes to clean his house, gets very impressed with his ideas, while he is immersed in his ex-girlfriend's memories.
Rabih's mother decides to get her son engaged, but he refuses because the wounds from his previous romantic relationships are not mend. Concurrently, Rabih apologizes from Salwa for his misbehavior towards her.
Salwa asks Rabih to give her a book to read. Although Rabih admires her personality and way of thinking, he has not forgotten the pain he experienced from his relationship with Rabab.
In his new novel, Rabih writes about his relationship with Rabab, the first woman in his life. He remembers the days he spent with her until her husband returned from his travel.
Salwa reads Rabih's novel. Meanwhile, his mother comes to the house to check on him, as he is still lost in his painful memories which is inspiring his writing.
While Rabih is busy in finishing his novel, someone arrives to town, and asks Salwa's hand in marriage, and Rabih's mother learns the news.
Salwa quarrels with her mother over her repeated rejection of marriage, while Rabih starts to fall for Salwa without confessing his feelings to her.
Rabih remembers his love affair with Samar, and the days he spent with her, and his behavior worries his mother. On the other hand, Salwa falls in love with Rabih, but hides her feelings from him.
