Lamb Kofta with Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

Ingredients for Kofta:
  • ½ kg, minced lamb meat, medium fat
  • 1 whole, onion
  • 2 tablespoons, parsley
  • 1 tablespoon, mint
  • ¼ teaspoon, cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon, cumin
  • ½ teaspoon, Arabic seven spices
  • 1 clove, garlic, finely chopped
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon, salt
  • ½ teaspoon, black pepper, ground

Ingredients for Tahini Sauce:
  • ½ cup, tahini
  • 2 whole, lemon, juice extracted
  • ¼ cup of water
  • Salt, to taste

Steps

  • Mix the minced meat with parsley, mint, cinnamon, cumin, Arabic seven spices, lemon zest, salt and black pepper.
  • Once mixed well, shape the mixture in small balls, and place it on an oil-greased baking tray.
  • Toss the tray in the oven at 230° C for 15-20 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix all tahina ingredients well and serve with your baked Kofta!
