This is an exploration of one of the UK's fastest growing and most profitable industries: fast fashion. An industry that's dominated by young entrepreneurial British Asians. An extraordinary story to be told in the success and future plans of Missguided.
For the very first time, Missguided, one of Britain’s biggest fast-fashion brands, lets cameras behind the scenes to see what life is like for their young, female-dominated workforce at their offices in the heart of Manchester.
Missguided are going back to their roots: guerrilla marketing. Owner Nitin wants the brand to hit the tabloids, and to do it, they’re planning to gate crash London Fashion Week with an eye-catching stunt in the centre of London with reality star Gemma Collins.
It’s party season at Missguided and the race is on to design a new range of dresses. But boss Nitin has high standards and the pressure is on to meet them. Will the dresses team hit their sales target and help get the business back on track?
Last year Missguided lost a staggering £26 million. And whilst they are well on their way to recovery, no day is more important than Black Friday. To hit their targets, the brand are launching their first ever ski wear range.
