Ingredients

Ingredients for Concentrated Syrup:

¾ cup, sugar
½ cup, water
2 tablespoons, honey
½, lemon

Ingredients for Dough:

600 grams, flour
1 tablespoon, yeast
3 tablespoons, honey
½ teaspoon, salt
4 tablespoons, vegetable oil
1 cup, warm milk
½ – ¾ cup, warm water

Ingredients for Filling:

300 grams, cottage cheese
Orange zest
2 tablespoons, cream

Ingredients for garnish:

1 egg
A little milk
Sesame

Steps

In a kneader, mix the flour, yeast, salt, honey and oil by hand, then add milk and knead some more.
As you knead, add water gradually till the dough is formed and all ingredients are mixed well.
Cover the dough and let it rise for an hour.
On the side, mix cottage cheese, orange zest and cream in a bowl to make your filling.
Now, divide the dough in smaller portions, and shape them in balls. Stuff each ball with the filling and place it on an oil-greased baking tray.
In another bowl, add egg with a little milk and whisk. Spread onto the dough balls and sprinkle sesame.
Toss the tray into the oven at 230° C for 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium flame, mix the ingredients of the concentrated syrup – sugar, water, honey and lemon, and let it boil a little.
When the dough comes out of the oven, brush the baked goodies with syrup and serve!
