Chicken Liver with Caramelized Onions

Ingredients for Chicken Liver with Caramelized Onions:
  • 2 tablespoons, vegetable oil
  • ½ kg, chicken liver
  • 2 whole, onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon, butter
  • 1 teaspoon, hot red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 stick, cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon, salt
  • Water, as required
  • 2 tablespoons, molasses pass
  • Toasted Almond Slices


Steps for Chicken Liver with Caramelized Onions:
  • On low flame, add a tablespoon of oil and butter. Add onions and mix until the onions are caramelized. Then, take it off the heat.
  • On the other side, heat 2 tablespoons of pol over high flame in a skillet. Add chicken liver and smear it with the hot oil. Add the cinnamon stick, and stir the liver nicely. Once the liver gets close to being cooked, add salt, hot pepper, date molasses and a little water, if required. Mix it all together, garnish with roasted almonds, and you’re done!
