Shrimps with Cumin Sauce
Serves: 2 people
Preparation time: 10 minutes

3 teaspoons, butter
3 teaspoons, vegetable oil
½ kg, jumbo shrimps, peeled
3 cloves, garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon, cumin
1 teaspoon, red chili pepper, finely chopped
¾ cup, tomato juice
1 teaspoon, salt
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, and half the quantity of shrimps or as many it takes to fill the pot. Tip: Cook the shrimps without letting it lose any of it’s own natural water. Keep the flame on high, else the water in the pan might overflow.
Repeat process till all shrimps are done and placed in a dish.
In the same pan, add butter and garlic. Mix till its cooked without it changing color.
Now, add cumin and stir. Then pour in the tomato juice and let it all mix well.
Once the tomato juice has mixed well with the rest of the ingredients, add the shrimps, hot pepper and salt. Let it simmer for some time, till the shrimps are nicely mixed with the sauce, but be careful not to overcook the shrimps.
Once done, you’re ready to serve it hot!
