1- Jamie Lannister... in a NORTHERN armor?

In the newest image reveal for GoT Season 8, we see a determined looking Jamie Lannister in a rather familiar armor..

Blink and you might miss it, but that very same design was once worn by the late Robb Stark, King in the North, as he rode off to battle.

That's right, the Kingslayer suited up in Northern armor. We last saw Jamie turning his back on Cersei, and the child she claims to be carrying, to meet Jon Snow and Daenarys at The Wall. The change in look could mean anything from a clever attempt to blend in as he makes his way there through enemy territory, or an actual shift in alliances.

Here's the official quote from actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau to really get those specualtions going:

"You see him covering up his gold hand, and he knows he has to get to some sort of commander—whether it be Jon Snow or someone else in charge. Otherwise, he's going into enemy territory, and he's quite recognizable with that gold hand. If he wants to even get to battle before he's killed by Stark soldiers, he's going to need a bit of luck. You'd hope he can get there."

2- Jon Snow and his true lineage

Remember L + R = J? If not, shame. Shame. Shame. (No but really – catch up here)

Summarized, GoT Season 7 brought truth to the fan theory that Jon Snow was actually the love child of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. With his growing affection for Daenarys Targaryen, whom the audience now knows is basically his aunt, the real question is if he will find out too.

One of the latest trailers heavily suggests it will be an early discover with one symbolic detail... The Winterfell feather.

The opening seconds show Jon walking through the crypts of Winterfell with Sansa and Arya. When they reach the effigy of Lyanna Stark, the feather tumbles down. The same one Robert Baratheon once placed in the statue’s hand, in the very first episode of Game of Thrones.

Coincidence? Not likely in the world of Westeros.

3- Bran Stark is looking more and more like the Night King

In the same trailer, the fandom noticed all Stark children were present – legitimate and illegitimate – minus one. Bran Stark.

We’ve speculated before on the fan theory that Bran is actually the Night King, but the end scene of the trailer really throws some weight behind it now. Many have theorized that the cold mist descending into the crypt in the end scene is Bran Stark’s symbolic presence, as the Night King.

There's also the whole "Bran-goes-back-in-time-but-the-Night-King-is-the-only-one-who-sees-him" situation. While the fan theory is one of the strongest, actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright who plays Bran all but denied it in recent interviews...

"I think it’s less that they’re the same person and more that they’re two of the ancient beings of Westeros. The Three-Eyed Raven has been around for God knows how long, and White Walkers have been reported since the beginning of time. As we’ve seen, they were created by the Children of the Forest, so we can’t get much more ancient than that."

These are our Westeros whispers for now, but stay tuned! We'll be revealing more key clues and confirmed intel as we get them.
