The series deals with the struggle Haroun Al Rashid faced when his brother Al Hadi tried to dethrone him. His mother helped him stay in his position. The show also examines the civilization under Haroun Al Rashid 's rule.
S1 E1: Episode 1
Khalifa Moussa Al Hadi plans to overthrow Haroun Al Rashid and replace him with his son Jaafar. Haroun decides to comply with Al Hadi's wishes to preserve the unity of the nation, facing opposition from everyone despite his reluctant agreement.
S1 E2: Episode 2
The conflict erupts among the courtiers inside the palace regarding the Khalifa's decision to remove Haroun Al Rashid from the heirship. As for Moussa, he decides to put his mother in confinement.
S1 E3: Episode 3
Haroun Al Rashid's mother discovers that someone attempted to kill her by poisoning her food. Moussa fears the potential overthrow by Harun Al Rashid.
S1 E4: Episode 4
Moussa Al Hadi dies, and everyone prepares for his funeral. A servant of Haroun Al Rashid gives birth to a child while his wife struggles with infertility. Harun, in turn, pledges his allegiance to Jaafar bin Al Hadi.

Haroun Al Rashid succumbs to everyone's desire and decides to assume the Khalifa after his brother, prompting people to pledge their allegiance to him.

Haroun Al Rashid engages in a duel with Al Fariaa, the sister of Al Walid Bin Tarif.

Haroun Al Rashid seeks to put an end to the turmoil stirred by Abi Issmat, while his aunt attempts to spread discord with her alluring voice and overpowering femininity. Meanwhile, Abi Issmat is apprehended, and his fate becomes unknown.
S1 E19: Episode 19
Thaat Al Khal feels saddened by Haroun Al Rashid avoiding her, and subsequently decides to declare her love for him. Al Abbasah becomes angered with Jafar Al Barmaki, thinking he is infatuated with another woman, while Ahmed declares his love for Cyrine.
S1 E20: Episode 20
Haroun appoints Al Maamun to govern in his absence. A conflict arises with Soumaia, Jaafar's daughter, posing a dilemma for her father, who, with Al Abbasah, plans to get rid of the pregnant servant before Haroun's return.
S1 E21: Episode 21
Zubaida suggests to Haroun the idea of hanging the document of succession on the Kaaba's curtains. Meanwhile, the Abbasah decide to sell Jaafar's pregnant servant in the market of traders.
S1 E22: Episode 22
Jaafar finds himself in a difficult situation before Haroun Al Rashid due to neglecting his duties. He is then asked to travel to Damascus to quell the unrest.
S1 E23: Episode 23
Diaa discovers the truth about "Saleh," who claimed to be Haroun Al Rashid, revealing he works for the Khalifa. Haroun then asks Abu Al Itahiya to compose a riddle in the form of as a poem, offering a reward for anyone solving it within two days.
S1 E24: Episode 24
Haroun Al Rashid asks Diaa to participate in solving the riddle with members of his court. As for Haroun's aunt, she is expelled from the palace and banished to Raqqa.
S1 E25: Episode 25
Jaafar loses control over Yahya Al Talibi's claim to the Caliphate. A request for his safe conduct is made, and Haroun Al Rashid consults advisors. Espionage on the Barmakeh in the palace is done to prevent defection.
S1 E26: Episode 26
Haroun Al-Rashid rewards Zubaida for having successfully solved the riddle, and she decides to donate a portion to the pilgrims. Meanwhile, Haroun instructs Layth to spy on all parties and keep him informed of any developments.
S1 E27: Episode 27
Haroun Al Rashid promises Mahdia to marry her, but upon receiving news from Layth about the movement of the Barmakieh towards the palace, he asks him to spread the news of their arrival.
S1 E28: Episode 28
Haroun Al Rashid addresses his men, urging readiness to defend Baghdad, then warns Al Fadl, signaling an impending conflict with the Barmakieh. Later, he decides to free his concubine, Diya.
S1 E29: Episode 29
A brawl erupts between Jaafar and Al Abbasah, prompting Haroun Al Rashid to order the imprisonment of Al Talibi, unaware that Jaafar is plotting to overthrow him.

Haroun Al Rashid negotiates Abbasah's marriage to Jaafar Al Barmaki, asks to replace all Barmakieh in the palace with his loyalists, and urges everyone to prepare for the confrontation with the enemy.

The news of Hasan's death leaves everyone devastated. Haroun urges his men to defeat the leaders of Al Baramkeh. Ahmad sells his ring to liberate Cyrine.

Aba Hashem thwarts an attempt to assassinate Haroun Al Rashid with a poisonous dagger. Yehya Al Barmaki is arrested, and orders are given to execute Jaafar Al Barmaki.
