Nizar Qabbani

Born in Damascus, poet Nizar Qabbani spends his childhood in his father's house, and nurtured a passion for painting. As he fell in love with his neighbor, a forced marriage was imposed upon her. Events take place during the French occupation amidst protests and arrests
