We’re not only giving you the top movies to watch the kids but with the whole family!

Over the past year, there have been loads of releases of animated films for kids so needless to say that the kids are spoilt for choice…but in a good way!

And let’s face it…there are lots of adults whose inner child pushes them to enjoy animated kids’ movies as much as – from the amazing animations, the hilarious plots, the memorable moral stories and more…kids movies are catered for all ages.

Especially for those who grew up watching their favorite feature films and only got the sequel they’ve been waiting for this year!

And that’s the case for Incredibles 2 – what a flashback!

Sure, new kids’ movies are great, but nothing beats the continuation of a childhood favorite.

On the other hand, we get new releases of both new kid movies and older kid classics, like Spiderman, whose story has been shapeshifted in our lives over the past decade.

While most of us loved Tobey Maguire’s rendition of Spiderman in 2002, the new Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse is the first of its about a curve ball.

So, whether you’re searching for the best movies to watch with your kids, or you’re just searching for a sequel to an oldie but goodie, we’ve got the list for you.

And the best part? They’ve all been nominated for an academy awards for best animated feature, which means your favorites might walk away with a gold statuette at the Oscars.

The Incredibles 2

(Premiering March 8 on OSN Movies First HD)

Awaited by millions of '90s kids all over the world, The Incredibles sequel is very LONG overdue for many of us who were pleading Disney & Pixar to give a green light for part two.

First released by in 2005, we can all still remember wishing to be a part of this incredible family…with some of us pretending to have inherited their superpowers - from super strength, invisbility, super speed or jaw-dropping strechability.

(And not many would admit this)

Following the not-so-mundane-life of Mr. Incredible (played by Craig T. Nelson) and Helen (played by Holly Hunter) and their unordinary family – they are forced to hide their powers and perform regular tasks…

Except it’s not very fun pretending to be something you’re not and after longing for a life of adventure, the family take it upon themselves to battle a rogue robot on a special mission from the government.

While this story tugged on the hearts of kids of all ages, our wishes came true when our favorite family was brought back with Incredibles 2.

From all the 90s kids out there: IT’S ABOUT TIME!

Released 13 years later, the Incredibles 2 is a revolutionary feature film because it puts Mr. Incredible at home with the kids, while Helen is the main breadwinner for the family.

While the family adjusts to this new transition, they must come together to beat an evil villain.

Isle of dogs

(Premiering March 15 on OSN Movies First HD)

Looking extremely realistic, the animation behind the dogs in the movie will have you rubbing your eyes thinking that those are actual talking dogs on your screen.

Maybe not for the overall aesthetic, but the level of details in the Isle of Dogs is award-worthy!

And it’s just in luck, this animated kids’ movie has been nominated for 2 category awards at the Oscars 2019.

Speaking on dog abandonment, the movie follows Megasaki City’s canine pets’ exile to Trash Island, but through this whole process, a 12-year-old boy gets separated from his bodyguard dog.

Searching endlessly in the city and making it to Trash Island, the little boy befriends a pack of canines who help him on his epic journey to find his long-lost dog and save the canine pack from exile.

And what happens when two best friends travel the Internet together to save a precious video game? Lots of drama, comedy, conflicts and a moral story to learn from, that's what happens.

When Ralph and his best friend Vanellope, who are the 'bad guys' at first, almost break the internet while trying to save Vanellope’s video game, they soon realize that being bad won’t help them with their end goal.

Seeking the help of the citizens of the internet, their bad attitude vanishes as they come together to navigate their way around the World Wide Web without breaking it forever.

Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse

(Available to pre-order on OSN Store on February 27)

This classic childhood cartoon is based on the Marvel comic books and is know for its beloved protagonist, Spiderman, whose sole mission in life is to save people’s lives.

Where the original and most recognizable movie was once portrayed by American sweetheart, Tobey Maguire, as Peter Parker who gets bit by a spider one day and gets supernatural powers to fight off the evil and save the innocent.

However, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse is extra special because it’s the first animated feature film of the Spiderman franchise.

And this time the story follows a teenager called Miles Morales, who is obsessed with Spiderman so much…that his story begins to reflect Peter Parkers’ story to the T.

Sneaking into an abandoned subway station to paint graffiti, Miles ends up being bit by a radioactive spider, which gives him spider-like abilities…sounds familiar right?

The two end up meeting in a collection of alternate universes, called the 'Spider-Verses' in their efforts to fight evil.
