Antoine joins Sarya's commando force on a mission to blow up the bridge. Mission completed, they are ordered to join Shamaran's unit. In the ISIS village, the British Jihadists get used to their new life and take part in violent actions against civilians.

Antoine, Sarya and the volunteers settle in a Kurdish village, and wait for Shamaran's battalion to arrive. At night, the offensive begins. The Kurdish village is spared, but the Jihadis - under Nasser's command - defeat the Kurdish female fighters in the frontline.

After accepting that Anna is dead, Antoine decides to leave Syria and go back home. However, the entire region was taken by ISIS. Sarya is tasked to escort Antoine back to the Kurdish capital. Distraught by the atrocities he has seen, Nasser asks Stanley for a way out.

2014, the Syrian civil war escalates dramatically as the Islamic State gains more territory, purging cities and villages. In news footage, Parisian Antoine Habert believes he recognises his dead sister and flies to Turkey to learn more about the woman in the video.

Antoine is interrogated by a YPJ officer and treated as an ISIS prisoner. The arrival of three British jihadists dramatically changes the balance of power between ISIS and the Kurds. With the help of the three Brits, the Kurdish base is attacked by mortars.

ISIS reinforcements are pouring to the area of the assassination, forcing Anna to run. Nasser is evacuated to ISIS HQ but Paul discovers his betrayal. At a secure location, Stanley introduces Nasser to his new handler: Anna. Antoine and injured Sarya return to Paris.

Sarya ascends to a new role, becoming the Commander of her battalion, stepping into the shoes of the late Commander Adar, a significant and challenging transition.

Nisrine, temporarily housed at the YPJ camp, faces Sarya's refusal to recruit her due to her young age.

Sarya, grappling with despair, reluctantly agrees to recruit more young volunteers for the YPJ. During this process, Sarya returns Nisrine to the refugee camp.

Ellie boards a flight to Erbil, Iraq, where she encounters Meike, a young Swiss woman. Meanwhile, Jake and Paul are still suspicious about Ellie's possible connections with the FBI.

Ellie adjusts to life in Syria with Jake, but tension arises when she discovers that he has been lying about some of ISIS's atrocities.

Arjin relieves Sarya of her command role, and decides not to launch another rescue mission for the kidnapped women.

As Max works on an article detailing Anna's connections with the Mossad, he’s being contacted by Anna’s previous Mossad handler.

Nasser masterminds an explosion at an apartment of an ISIS terrorist, who worked at the women’s camp.
