Arab families residing at a compound in Saudi Arabia face the trends of fundamentalists who shun a terroristic war in defence of Islam against what they call infidels.
The presenter, Shaden, meets Farah who was disfigured in a terrorist attack. Farah tells her story, since she was a high school girl and her mother forced her to leave school to marry the engineer, Samer.
Farah travels with her husband, Samer, to Riyadh to start his new job. They rent a house from Umm Yousef. Abu Firas tries to convince his wife to be firmer with their children.
Abu Firas asks Souad to limit her contact with the new neighbors. Jalila quarrels with her husband as he objects her work as a writer. An extremist Sheikh starts spreading the fighting spirit in the youth at the mosque.
Abu Firas quarrels with his son and beats him for smoking cigarettes. Firas decides to leave the house. Samer loses his temper with Farah and starts treating her harshly.

Jamal disapproves of Abir's pregnancy. An extremist Sheikh tries to get Abdel Rahim to join them for jihad.
Bahia continues to trying to know everything that is happening with her neighbors. The news about the car bomb spreads. Samer refuses to have any contact with his neighbor, Yousef.
The principal asks Souad to stop making political speeches in class. As Jamal continues to oppose Abir's pregnancy, she decides to go to her family in Lebanon to give birth.

Bahia is upset when she finds out that her neighbor Abir is pregnant. Salma exploits her friend Hanadi to chat online with boys. Hanadi quarrels with her father for the family repression in which she lives.
When Salma tells her mother that Hanadi likes her brother Yousef, Umm Yousef grows upset. Bahia decides to consult a doctor in an attempt to have children.

A terrorist attack takes place at the compound where Abu Yousef and Abu Firas live, leaving many injured and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Abdel Rahim says goodbye to his mother before traveling but he doesn't tell her what he did. The police begin to investigate the terrorist attack to find the culprits.

While the police are investigating all the terrorists who have been arrested, the mosque's Sheikh tries to encourage young men to stay away from terrorism.
Abir passes away. As Jamal recovers from illness, he decides to hold an anti-terrorism exhibition. Bahia passes away. Umm Yousef gets nervous and decides to return to the Levant after her daughter's death.
