Now, Star Wars is no stranger to fanfare and has amassed millions if not a billion fans worldwide. From what we’ve seen so far, the latest sequel trilogy which began with the mega blockbuster The Force Awakens (2015) hasn’t disappointed us so far. Director J.J Abrams has done a stellar job piecing this storyline from over 40 years in the making and keeping it fresh, relevant and entertaining today.

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017) was met with mixed reviews when it came to the general public, with most of the fans either liking it A LOT or disliking it. What’s your take? And what are you expecting from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker?

The prequels to these sequels (yes, we know how that sounds) came in the form of Rogue One (2016) and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). Rogue One surprisingly surpassed all expectations and was an instant classic in the making – unfortunately the same can’t be said for Solo. While the story does tie up well in the overall scheme of things, the fans weren’t all too keen about the film. However, both movies did give us some OUTSTANDING new characters to love in the Star Wars universe.

From cool pop culture references to sneaker collaborations, to cartoons, comics, collectibles, to an entire LEGO universe and a live action TV series spin-off (The Mandalorian, 2019), Star Wars has yet again resurfaced and taken the world by storm. This last episode in the ‘Skywalker saga’ is highly anticipated and we can’t wait to catch our (new) favorite characters in action once again. (BB-8 is BB-Bae, don’t @ us)
