    Sea bass fillet with hot sauce

    • Serves: 3 people

    Ingredients

    Ingredients for fish seasoning:
    • 1 tablespoon, cumin seeds
    • 1 tablespoon, coriander seeds
    • 1 tablespoon, fennel seeds
    • 1 tablespoon, black pepper seeds
    • 1 tablespoon, paprika
    • 1 tablespoon, sumac

    Ingredients for sauce:
    • 2 tablespoons, olive oil
    • 1 whole, onion, cut in medium cubes
    • ¾ cup, colored pepper
    • 1 tablespoon, red pepper
    • 2 cloves, garlic, crushed
    • 3, canned tomatoes, peeled
    • ¼ cup, black olives
    • 2 tablespoons, coriander leaves
    • 1 teaspoon, fish seasoning
    • 1 ¼ teaspoon, salt
    • 2 pieces, sea bass fillet
    • Lemon slices
    • 2 teaspoons, butter

    Steps

    • In a hot frying pan, add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds and black pepper seeds. Toast and crush the seeds, then add paprika and sumac.
    • On the side, place the fish on a baking tray and season it with a quarter tablespoon of salt, lemon slices and some butter. Toss the tray in the oven at 230° Celsius for 10 minutes.
    • Meanwhile, fry onions in a skillet over medium flame, till the onions wilt.
    • Now, add garlic, then colored pepper, and stir well with the onions, so all vegetables wilt a little.
    • Add the canned, peeled tomatoes to the skillet, along with some of its tomato juice, stir and blend all vegetables together with a spoon.
    • Once mixed well, add a tablespoon of fish mixture, salt, olives and coriander leaves. Once the sauce comes to a boil, you’re done and ready to serve with your baked fish!
