Okay, we’ve got some good news and we’ve got some bad news.
The bad news is, some of our favourite TV shows are wrapping up over the next few months – some for the very last time. The good news is, they’re all showing on OSN.
So dry your eyes and get set for some top-notch finales…
Season seven of the slickest show on TV ended with an epic two-hour finale. With royal-to-be Meghan Markle and on-screen fiancé Patrick J. Adams on their way out, we’ve no doubt the writers packed the last few episodes with plenty of twists and turns to lure us into season eight. And if you still can’t get enough of Suits, there’s a spin-off in the works, with Gina Torres reprising her role as hotshot Jessica Pearson, this time on Chicago’s political scene.
Also ending is the seventh and final season of our favourite political thriller. Theories came in thick and fast across the internet as to how it might end, but in a TV show so full of intrigue and well, scandal, was really is anyone’s guess. One thing’s for sure though: the show’s creator Shonda Rhimes knows how to pack a dramatic punch, and she didn’t disappoint.
Seven is again the magic number, as Jess, Cece and the boys move into their seventh and final season this month. After season six was wrapped up so neatly, with Jess and Nick back together and Cece and Schmidt preparing for the birth of their baby, we can’t wait to see what the writers have in store. The final eight-episode run looks set to start with a three-year time hop, and rumour has it that Jess’s exes Sam, Robby and Russell will be back on the scene, so anything could happen.
Picking up three years on from where season five left off, the sixth and final season of the Cold War thriller sees Philip settled as a full-time travel agent, having stepped back from KGB assignments. With the 1987 Reagan-Gorbachev summit approaching though, Elizabeth and Paige – now a trainee agent – are stepping up their intelligence operations. The creators have really turned up the tension for the home straight, so prepare for a gripping finale.
All good things must come to an end, and with the kids all grown-up, this ground-breaking TV show must draw to a close. After a time jump at the end of season four, the fifth season picks up where we left off – in a hotel room with a gun-wielding pimp, where else? Rest assured though, the final season will still feature all the usual family conflict and heart-warming moments, while a three-episode finale will wrap everything up with a wedding. And if you still can’t bear to let go, a spin-off following Callie and Mariana into adulthood is already in the pipeline.
The penultimate season of Armando Iannucci’s razor-sharp satire is still on sparkling form, with all the back-stabbing, double-crossing and barbed one-liners we’ve come to love. As plans for her presidential library take shape, Selina starts work on her memoirs. But when did the course of political PR ever run smooth? The final episode sets up a tantalising cliff-hanger, but don’t expect resolution any time soon. The seventh and final season of the show is pencilled to start filming this summer and won’t hit screens until next year.
The twisted, time-travelling saga is back for a fourth and final season this summer. Originally based on the 1995 film, the TV show has now well and truly taken on a life of its own, as we’re whisked back in time to Middle Ages England. We don’t want to give too much away, but it’s set to get darker and deadlier than ever.
