Moein Al Din Unur joins forces with Jerusalem's princes, seeking funds to thwart The Franks' campaign. Using clever tactics, they defeat the invaders, and French prince Renaud of Chatillon opts to stay in Jerusalem.

After healing Henry, a friend of Renaud, the doctor leaves for Nablus. Events unfold with the death of the Prince of Antioch, the defeat of Nour Al Din Mahmoud in Inab, and the rise of Mujir al Din Abaq to rule Damascus, forming an unexpected alliance.

Baldwin III ascends the throne in Jerusalem, and Constance weds Renaud of Chatillon, who becomes Prince of Antioch. Meanwhile, The Franks take over Ashqelon, while Nour al Din enters Damascus with Najem Al Din Al Ayoub's aid.

With the intention of showcasing his own strength, Asad Al Din challenges Salah Al Din to a duel, whereas Renaud seizes Antioch's priests and extorts Patriarch Emery for funds to conquer Byzantine-owned Cyprus.

Dethroned during Khutbah Al Jumuah, the Caliphate's passing brings Nour Al Din Mahmoud to power in Egypt and the Levant, sparking tensions with Salah Al Din. On the other hand, Amalric seeks vengeance for Raymond, the Prince of Tripoli, to secure his son Baldwin as heir

Grief-stricken by his father Najem Al Din's death, Salah Al Din faces a power struggle as Nour Al Din's health declines. Despite his youth, Al Saleh Ismail takes the throne in Damascus.

Following Amalric's death, young Baldwin IV becomes King of Jerusalem. Salah Al Din's arrival in Damascus is greeted warmly. He then heads to Aleppo, unaware that Saad Al Din and Sheikh Al Jabal Rashed's plan to eliminate him.

An assassination attempt on Salah Al Din fails, prompting Saad Al Din to seek The Franks' help, in exchange of Renaud's release. However, Salah Al Din strikes back, defeats his enemies in Aleppo and Mosul, and is named Deputy of the Caliphate in the Levant.

Surviving an assassination attempt by Sheikh Al Jabal intensifies Salah Al Din's dedication to his battle against The Franks. He then marries Ismat Al Din Khatun before besieging King Baldwin IV in Ashqelon.

Salah Al Din lifts the Ashqelon siege to bait The Franks, but they defeat him in Al Ramla, and then decide to build a fortress in Marjeyoun. Salah Al Din narrowly escapes, while Al Saleh Ismail removes Saad Al Din on charges of betrayal.

The Franks' scheme crumbles as Salah Al Din prevails at Marjeyoun, resulting in a ceasefire. Yet, Renaud of Chatillon opposes peace and heads towards Mecca and Medina with intentions to conquer them.

Renaud rejects King Baldwin's plea to return the caravan's riches. Salah Al Din launches an assault on Al Karak in response to Renaud's repeated attacks on Muslim caravans. However, amidst the chaos, Ismat Al Din and King Baldwin IV pass away.

Salah Al Din mourns his wife's death, as Prince Josceline's plot crowns Guy of Lusignan King of Jerusalem. Upon Renaud of Chatillon's resistance to the ceasefire, Salah Al Din advances to Hattin, compelling The Franks to confront him amid their dire circumstances.

At Hattin, King Guy and numerous princes, including Renaud of Chatillon, face capture. Renaud meets a gruesome end by Salah Al Din, whose siege spurs Balian of Ibelin to lead resistance as The Franks refuse surrender.

In order to establish an unconditional peace, The Franks concede Jerusalem to Salah Al Din who then enters the city with humility, ensuring their safe departure. The following Friday, crowds gather for prayers at the Al Aqsa Mosque.
