Today's Asian adventure takes John Torode to Mumbai on the west coast of India. Inspired by his cooking lessons and laden with produce from a visit to a local market, John undertakes a brand new dish of his own.

Thanks to Macao's colonial history and casino bolstered wealth, it's become the ideal venue for John Torode to explore fusion cookery.

This is where it all started for John 20 years ago, and a return to Thailand, the home of his favourite Asian cuisine, has him giddy with delight.
