The 92nd Academy Awards is just around the corner. Trending worldwide as #Oscars2020; the Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, 9 February 2020, in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.

The Oscars 2020 are presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and honor the greatest films of 2019.

The nominees have just been released and OH MY WORD, we cannot contain our excitement! John Cho and Issa Rae went live from Hollywood and gave us the final list of nominees. Let us know if your top film of 2019 made it, and who do you think will win it all.

As you would expect Joker and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood absolutely SMASHED the nominations list. But just how well did they do? Here you go. Ladies and gentlemen, your nominees for the 92nd Academy Awards are:

Yes, that wasn’t a typo. You definitely, positively read that right. A WHOPPING 11 Oscar nominations for what was arguably one of the best movies of 2019. Thank you for this masterpiece, Todd Phillips. Joaquin Phoenix really came into his own and made this performance one to remember for years to come; an ode to the legendary Heath Ledger who also played the iconic Joker in Batman: The Dark Knight.
